With 5 years of professional tutoring experience and an extensive background working with children and students, Meg founded Teaching Turtle to continue their mission to help out learners of all ages.

Curating a Love of Learning

With a history of working with truant and academically struggling youth, Meg understands that problems in school often stem from a disconnect from humans’ intrinsic love of learning. Teaching Turtle’s tutoring services target that desire to learn no matter how deeply buried it may be. Positive reinforcement and focus on the students’ individual interests and strengths are core parts of Teaching Turtle’s teaching philosophy.
